Hazel Hewitt and Associates Ltd was setup by Robin Stevenson in 1989, and specialises in Environmental and Resource Management Act planning and consents, their area of practise is national but the emphasis is on the upper half of the North Island. Principally focussed on the following fields of resource management and planning works:
Robin Stevenson ( principal director of Hazel Hewitt and Associates Ltd), was educated at Doncaster University, in Quarry Engineering, and also holds a National Certificate of Mechanical Engineering from the UK before arriving in New Zealand in 1976. He has worked for a number of large multinational companies before setting up his own consultancy practice.
Robin has been involved and worked with the Resource Management Act 1991 (RMA) since 1988, with both its conception and implementation.
Robin is also a qualified Planning and Resource Management Act Independent Commissioner and is thereby qualified to make better decisions under the Resource Management Act (RMA). Robin has the skills to run fair and effective resource consent, plan change and designation hearings, and to make informed decisions on RMA issues.
Robin has attended numerous Hearing Committee covering quarrying, mining, landfills subdivisons, land-use and stormwater.
